The Photograph

With the dawn of digital cameras, we’ve forgotten what photography is about; myself included. I’ve spent some time unpacking some of the misconceptions and paradigms the digital age created. I’ll use this statement as a springboard, “I just want a few pictures.” Here at Studio513, we are here to create art for our clients, not pictures. Creating an image is an incredibly simplistic exercise. We can pull out our smartphones and click the button…poof, we have some pictures.

Art, on the other hand, is an incredibly different product. Art - the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Art is what we, Studio513, are here for. We want to create individual pieces of art for our clients. We want to consider who you are and where you are and convey this in the most elegant pieces imaginable. This is why we have decided to provide finished art pieces to our fabulous customers.
